THE CHEVRON CHAMPIONSHIP

In 2023, the Golf Diversity Program partnered with Chevron to expand its Career Day programming into a two-day event held during the Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The program brought together two distinct groups—high school women ages 12–17 and female student-athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities—for focused experiences centered on career exploration and industry engagement.

Led by Peter Jacobsen, each day featured a series of Q&A-style discussions with professionals from across the golf industry, providing participants with insight into a range of career pathways and opportunities to build connections.
