HOWARD UNIVERSITY

The Golf Diversity Program hosted a Career Day in April 2023 for the men’s and women’s golf teams at Howard University. Held at Topgolf National Harbor in Washington, D.C., the event brought student-athletes together for an evening focused on career exploration, connection, and skill development.

Led by Peter Jacobsen, the program featured a Q&A-style discussion with industry professionals, followed by hands-on instruction at the hitting bays. Peter and golf instructor Chris O’Connell spent time working directly with student-athletes, offering swing coaching and individualized feedback in a relaxed, interactive environment.
