ALABAMA STATE UNIVERSITY

For many students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), a career the golf industry can feel intimidating and out of reach. After all, golf has long suffered from a lack of diversity.
The Golf Diversity Program gives access to the networks and mentorship required to turn passion for sport, into a full-time career. This year’s program will take place at Alabama State University during the Spring Kickoff Tournament. Hosted by Peter Jacobsen, the event aims to educate and inspire those who attend.
The latest installment in the touring seminar program is a testament to its success. So far, a 3-year program that has opened many doors and empowered countless talented young students to pursue a career in golf. The Golf Diversity Program is quickly becoming a favorite at HBCU’s.
